What is eNPS?
eNPS
Employer Net Promoter Score (eNPS) is a scoring system designed to help employers measure employee satisfaction and loyalty within their organizations. It’s calculated as the difference between your happiest and least happy employees.
Employee Net Promoter Score is an employee-focused variant of the traditional Net Promoter Score (NPS).
How is eNPS measured?
Employees are asked to respond within a 1-5 Likert scale of how likely they are to recommend their company as a great place to work. 1 is the least likely and 5 is the most likely.
People who score 4 or 5 are considered promoters (people most likely to advocate for the company), and people who score 1 or 2 are considered detractors.
The following eNPS formula is then used to calculate the results:
(eNPS score) = (% of promoters) - (% of detractors)
Why does eNPS matter?
Along with other important information and indicators (open-ended responses, qualitative interviews, analysis across multiple demographics), Employee Net Promoter Score helps employers to determine whether company leaders are doing a good job of supporting their employees.
